Ryan Leach’s April 2023 Composing Competition
I am happy to announce that I will be joining the panel of judges for Ryan Leach’s April 2023 Composing Competition! This competition marks one year since Ryan began hosting composing competitions on his YouTube Channel, inspiring thousands of entries from composers of all experience levels.
To enter this month’s competition, composers must write an original piece of music up to 90 seconds in length inspired by this artwork by Marcos De la Sierra:
You have until April 30th at 11:59PM EDT to submit your music! Please fill out this form to secure your entry.
15 finalists will be chosen to be showcased and critiqued during a livestream event on May 10th at 10:00PM EDT. The panel of judges will include Ryan Leach, Gavin Leeper, Christopher Siu, and me! Entries will be critiqued on composition, relevance to the inspiration image, and production quality.
